Who Can Apply?
To be eligible for the CMC Angels Pitch Competition you must:
Be a woman entrepreneur or a business that supports women
18 years or older, with the courage to dream big and take action to realise your vision and make a difference.
Be a current member of Chief Meta Chicks
Surround yourself with a community that believes in your vision and support your growth and success.(Not a member yet? Join here)
Have a registered ABN or business entity
If you already have one, amazing — you're good to go.
If not, you need to be in the process of registering one or provide details of your overseas registered entity.
Have the drive to take your business to the next level

Do I have to be a member of Chief Meta Chicks to apply?
Yes!CMC Angels Pitch Competition is exclusively open to active members of the Chief Meta Chicks community. If you're not yet a member, you can join here — it only takes a minute, provides valuable support and opens up a world of opportunities to set you up for business success!
What should I include in the pitch video?
Great question! Your video should include:
- Who you are and what your business does.
- Why you started it — your mission and passion.
- Where you're at now (early-stage, growing, pivoting, etc.)
- What you need most support with.
- Why now is your moment Pro tip: You don't need a fancy setup. We're here for your messagenot your production value.

When is the deadline to apply?
Applications close on 01-08-2025 at 11:59 PM AESTNo late entries will be accepted, so don’t wait until the last minute!
Will I need to pitch live?
Yes! Finalists will participate n a live pitch , presenting to our panel of experts, partners, and community leaders. It’s an amazing opportunity to get feedback and gain visibility — even if you don’t win.

How do I apply?
To apply, you must fill out the official application form and submit a video pitch (maximum 3 minutes).The form will ask for your business details, your category of focus, and a few reflection questions to understand your mission and needs.

Do I need to have an ABN to participate?
Yes, if you are an Australian business you need to quote your ABN. If you are an overseas entity you need to demonstrate business registration details.
How are participants evaluated?
Your application and video will be reviewed based on:
- Originality and clarity of your business
- Alignment with one of our prize categories
- Growth potential
- Your WHY — the purpose driving your business Community and/or industry impact
